Last Updated: April 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Tipity Hope Ministries website ("Site"), submitting any forms, or participating in any programs offered by Tipity Hope Ministries ("THM," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site or our services.

2. Nature of Services

Tipity Hope Ministries operates a faith-based recovery support program launching in Central Pennsylvania. We are NOT a medical facility, detox center, hospital, licensed treatment center, or mental health provider. Our program is a structured, faith-based community living and work program for individuals who have already completed detoxification.

  • We do not provide medical detoxification services.
  • We do not provide licensed clinical addiction treatment.
  • We do not provide psychiatric or psychological counseling.
  • We do not prescribe or administer medication.
  • We are not a substitute for professional medical treatment.
  • Participation in our program is voluntary and faith-based.

3. Eligibility

To participate in the THM program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have completed a medically supervised detoxification program prior to admission.
  • Pass a urine drug screening upon intake.
  • Not have been convicted of any violent crime or sexual offense.
  • Voluntarily agree to the program rules, structure, curfew, and weekly fee.
  • Be willing to seek and maintain employment during the program.

4. Program Participation

By entering the program, participants agree to:

  • Submit to random urine drug testing at any time during the program.
  • Pay the required weekly program fee on time.
  • Actively seek and maintain employment.
  • Attend all required classes, church services, and teachings.
  • Abide by all house rules and community standards.
  • Treat all members, staff, and property with respect.

THM reserves the right to dismiss any participant from the program at any time for violation of program rules, positive drug tests, failure to pay fees, curfew violations, missing mandatory classes without approval, disruptive behavior, or any other reason deemed necessary for the safety and integrity of the community. Curfew violations and failed drug tests result in immediate dismissal and removal from the property.

5. No Guarantee of Results

THM makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the outcome of participation in our program. Recovery from addiction is a personal journey, and results vary for each individual. We do not guarantee sobriety, employment, financial outcomes, or any specific result from participation in our program.

6. Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge and accept that community living involves inherent risks, including but not limited to interpersonal conflicts, exposure to individuals in various stages of recovery, and the challenges of shared living spaces. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the program.

7. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Tipity Hope Ministries, its founder(s), officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your participation in the program.

THM may partner with employers, food pantries, churches, courts, probation/parole offices, and other organizations. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or practices of any third-party organization. Any employment obtained through our partnerships is between the participant and the employer.

12. Court & Parole Coordination

THM may work with courts, probation officers, and parole agents to provide housing and program placement for individuals being released from incarceration. THM is not a legal representative, attorney, or advocate in any legal proceeding. Our coordination with the court system is limited to providing information about our program and confirming participant enrollment and compliance. THM makes no guarantees regarding parole approval, sentence reduction, or any legal outcome. Participation in our program does not constitute a legal defense or mitigating factor unless determined by the court.

12. Modifications

THM reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site or participation in the program after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
